At Kelly’s Beauty Box, we use the Criss CryoLaser, a gold-standard laser hair removal system. It delivers highly effective, long-lasting results while keeping your skin comfortable with advanced cooling technology.

• Laser Hair Removal (Criss CryoLaser) uses a concentrated beam of light that precisely targets hair follicles, destroying them with minimal impact on the surrounding skin. It is more powerful, more effective, and provides longer-lasting results than IPL.

• IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) uses a broad spectrum of light that scatters across the skin, making it less focused and less effective for permanent hair reduction. IPL often requires more sessions and may not work as well on certain hair types.

Most clients need 6-8 sessions for optimal results, depending on the treatment area and hair type. Maintenance sessions may be required for long-term smoothness.

Laser hair removal significantly reduces hair growth, with many clients experiencing long-term results. Some hair may regrow over time but will be finer and lighter, and occasional top-up treatments can maintain results.

Thanks to the Criss CryoLaser’s built-in cooling system, treatments are comfortable with minimal discomfort, often described as a slight warming or tingling sensation.

The Criss CryoLaser is effective on all skin types and any hair colour.

• Shave the area 24 hours before your session (avoid waxing, tweezing, or epilating).

• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and fake tan for 2 weeks before treatment.

• Do not apply lotions, creams, or deodorants to the area on the day of your appointment.

• Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF 30+ sunscreen daily.

• Avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense exercise for 24-48 hours.

• Do not wax, pluck, or tweeze between sessions—shaving only is allowed.

While there is no confirmed risk, we do not recommend laser treatments during pregnancy due to hormonal changes affecting hair growth and skin sensitivity.
